Shi South Section 5: Heathcliff's Story
Shi Assoc. South Section 5 Heathcliff
Gaaah, I… said! Thrusting doesn't work when you do it in the enemy's… face!
The ginger child deftly dodged the long blade swung by her opponent.
Though they weren't enemies, there was murderous violence; though they weren't training, there were words of advice.
This sort of tussle was an everyday occasion between the two, so there wasn't a reason for anyone to step in.
Ow! Keep still, won't you?
You're an assassin, so assassinate! I have no idea how you managed to join us!
Grr… You…!
It's assassination if there's no witnesses - what more do you want!!!
The smaller of the two children's eyes went wide at the other.
Was she shocked by the unexpected bitterness in his voice, or…
Wow. I didn't think you'd actually say that out loud.
Ah, so she was simply baffled by his childish rebuttal.
You know what? I'm done. I'll just go have a word with the director!
Oi, hold on a sec… Oi!
The tall child quickly leaned forward to chase her, but soon stopped in place. He probably knew it was of no use.
Instead, he looked up into the sky, and quietly uttered his feelings after expelling a sigh:
Tch, I need to earn my keep somehow… I know I'm not fit for this kinda work.
It seems this child has his own share of woes.
