Tier list

Every identity has two ratings: an endgame rating, judged mostly on Refraction Railway, and an overall rating across the rest of the game. The tier is their average. Hover a card for both ratings, its role and its raw clash numbers against 10 story bosses, or switch to the list to see them all at once and tell a placement that comes from skill power from one that comes from passives and statuses. Ratings as of 06 October 2026.

How the tier is set

Both ratings go on one scale (SSS 11, SS 10, S+ 9.5, S 9, A 8, B 7, C 6, D 5) and the tier is the average, rounded to the nearest step. When the two are two or more steps apart the row is marked "ratings disagree": 11identities are, usually ones that shine in one kind of content and not the other. "Placed with its E.G.O" means the rating counts on an E.G.O that the identity is built around.

The clash numbers

Clash win and damage per skill come from the Clash lab engine, not from opinion. Each of the identity's three skills clashes every attack skill used by Ricardo, Erlking Heathcliff, The Knight of the White Moon, Lei Heng, Muddled Heishou of the Corpse Palanquin [混覺轀輬黑獸], The Middle Nursefather - Matthias, The Index Nursefather - Rien, Blackthread of the Elden Sea, Le Noir's Brand Manager, The Crimson God [Adulthood], with everyone at level 60, Uptie IV and 0 Sanity. Damage per skill is the win chance times the damage landed after winning, against each boss's resistances, weighted 3:2:1 for Skills 1 to 3 the way the skill deck deals them.

The clash numbers leave out passives, statuses (Bleed, Burn, Tremor, Rupture, Sinking, Poise, Charge) and conditional coin power from skill text. An identity with a high tier and modest clash numbers is strong through those effects; the reverse usually means big numbers with little support around them. Order the list by clash math to see that side alone.
