Wayward Passenger

Wayward Passenger

You see a poor passenger, stranded between dimensions. Most will never realize that this person ever disappeared. Well, the transport company would know, but they'll simply pretend that the passenger never existed. Lost and abandoned, tossed out like trash, having no place left in the City.

As soon as it's shown where to go, it runs in that direction. You notice it dropped something as it began to sprint. A blue lighter with a Wing's logo on it. You heard stories of that Wing providing its employees with supplies like this. It would seem that it was an employee of the transport company, not a passenger.

Failure

While you were in contemplation, it slowly shambled your way. When you point in a random direction out of panic, it changes course to follow the instruction. Moments later, you heard the noise of metal plates crumpling, and something else ripping apart.

It idly stared in our direction. Then, it began shambling for us, realizing something. As it drew closer, you were able to identify that the being was a company employee, not a passenger. The ID card on its chest gave it away. This stranded employee was approaching us, preparing to go through the motions.

{0} takes a few steps, and the passenger follows. As we draw closer to what appears to be an exit, the passenger bows down as though to show us gratitude. We heard something fall; it left behind what appears to be a patrol flashlight. Looks like it wasn't lost after all. It may have been an employee of a transport company that happened to be patrolling the area. Maybe we didn't guide it - maybe it was merely following us to make sure that we found the right exit.

Failure

{0} takes a few steps, and the passenger follows. After a while, {0} accidentally leads us back to where we started. The passenger stands there, somewhat confused and awkwardly waving its arms, before striding forth and beckoning us to follow. It led us to the exit.
